Keylion® Flanged Ball Check Valve is one of the check valves. The opening and closing parts are spherical, so it is called the ball check valve. It is used in the pipeline system. Its main function is to prevent the backflow of the medium and the reverse rotation of the pump and its driving motor. , and the discharge of the medium in the container; it can also be used for supplying pipelines for auxiliary systems where the pressure may rise above the pressure of the main system. It can be installed horizontally or vertically. It can be used for cold water, hot water, industrial and domestic sewage pipe networks, and is more suitable for submersible sewage pumps. The medium temperature is 0-80 °C. It can be installed at the water outlet of the pump to prevent backflow and water hammer from damaging the pump.

Why is a ball check valve preferred over a swing check valve for sewage applications?

Can I install this flanged ball check valve in a vertical pipeline?
Absolutely. One of the most versatile features of our ball check valve is its mounting flexibility. It performs reliably in both horizontal and vertical (upward flow) orientations. In vertical installations, gravity assists the ball in returning to its seat, ensuring a fast and bubble-tight shutoff the moment the pump stops.
Is the internal ball replaceable, or do I need to replace the entire valve?
Maintenance is straightforward and cost-effective. Thanks to the bolted bonnet (cover) design, you can access the internal chamber easily. You can inspect or replace the ball and the body gasket without removing the valve body from the pipeline. This "inline maintenance" capability reduces system downtime and long-term labor costs.
